Running and Cooking
(30.09.2009)Yesterday I had a combined session of Cooking and Running. One was actually the consequence of the other. I went for a long run on the Queen-K Highway and there was not a cloud in sight. So temperatures got close to 90°F on that stretch which makes it quite interesting and hard after a few miles. I had my Fuel Belt with some Powerbar drinks but it still was a hard session. Thus a relaxed season?
On the one hand: Yes. Although I had a big aim at the Ironman at Frankfurt. But this competition did not work the way I had hoped. Well, at least I had no pressure to qualify anymore after the Ironman at Wisconsin.

Arrival in Kona
(30.09.2009)This night (German time) most of the Commerzbank athletes arrived in Kona. Normann had already arrived on Monday and welcomed the team at the airport - riding his bike.
