Three weeks before Ironman Lanzarote, Maik Twelsiek finished eighth today at Wildflower Triathlon over 1,2 miles swim, 56 miles bike and 13,1 miles run. At Ironman South Africa, Mathias Hecht has been in the lead for a long time, fighting for his first Ironman title. In the end he finished second behind the South African Raynard Tissink.
